The critically acclaimed BBC Two comedy REV. returns for a second series and Christmas Special
Big Talk Productions have been recommissioned to produce a second series of 'Rev.' for BBC Two, with co-creator Tom Hollander returning as the Rev. Adam Smallbone.
James Wood will once again take up the helm as lead writer; Fintan Ryan (Never Better, Party Animals, Hustle) is joining to write an episode and multi-award winning Peep Show creator Sam Bainwill join as script editor and also to co-write the Christmas special with co-creator Wood. Peter Cattaneo, the Oscar nominated director of The Full Monty also returns to direct series 2.
Premiering to 2.2 million viewers on BBC Two, Rev. went on to win the South Bank Award for Best Comedy 2010 and was nominated for Best Comedy and Best Comedy Performance for Tom Hollander at the RoyalTelevision Society Programme Awards, Comedy Awards and Broadcasting Press Guild TV Awards.

Filming for series two will start in East London this summer and will air late 2011 on BBC Two.
Peter Cattaneo (The Full Monty) directs the series alongside Producers Hannah Pescod and Chief Executive of Big Talk Productions, Kenton Allen.
