So we thought Emily finally got part of her revenge and she was happy? And then this episode happened. I could have done without the subplot about all the Frenchmen, but that is probably to give Daniel something to do ( they can write him out for all I care).

Now spoilers for eveyone who hasn't seen the episode.

But everything else was just jawdropping, from Aidan getting killed by Victoria ( with her own hands, wow) to Conrad escaping from prison only to get killed by David Clarke ( he looked beyond help to me, but you never know with this series), who seems very much alive ( and who is seemingly not such a nice person, which seems to fit with what Victoria said about him to Emily), Jack getting arrested for his part in Charlottes kidnapping ( really she recognised him from his touch, I can't think the police would take " I recognised his touch" as an identification seriously and after being his friend and trusting him for so long she takes about three seconds to think he could have kidnapped her?) and best of all the twist with Victoria. We now know that Victoria found out Emily and thougt that this was the end for Emily's sneeky plans and then Emily uses this to frame Victoria into being commited for mental illness. All Victoria's ravings, which are really the truth, now seem just part of her mental problems. Brilliant solution, Emily!moreless

    Spoilers!

I was blown away by this season finale! Not only did we finally get rid of Aiden (sorry mate) but Victoria was at her dastardly best and lots of interesting pins lined up to be knocked down next season :-) Bit of a shame David's reappearance was hinted at so heavily as would've preferred a real surprise on that, but Conrad whistling a happy tune on release only to literally meet the embodiment of his sins face to face was fabulously planned out. Props to the writers as a lot of this season had me wondering where they were planning to go next season and in two episodes they flipped everything on it's head.

As someone else said - lots of poetic justice: Queen of mean Vicky right where she put Emanda's mum, Vic taking Aiden out as revenge for her beau's death, Danny boy getting stitched right up for a girl's murder having got away with shooting Em, and Nolan plotting his own cyber revenge with (inexplicably American - sorry writers, not buying the 'went to boarding school' shtick) Gideon. Charlotte was, as always, pretty annoying buy hey ho.

Surprised to find I'm loving Jack these days, but it's still all about Nolan for me! Well done, Revenge, I can't wait for the next season! :-)moreless
