Richard Bangs' Adventures with Purpose Greece: Quest for the Gods is a documentary hosted by renowned adventurer Richard Bangs and co-hosted by Arianna Huffington and Agapi Stassinopolous about their journey into the ruins of Ancient Greece. Their first destination is the most famous Greek city of all, Athens, the birthplace of Democracy. From there, they embark to Ithaca, home of the epic Homeric hero Odysseus. Their adventure ends at Mount Olympus, the mountain where the Greek gods were said to dwell and the location of the first Olympic games. In the ruins of the past they find the seeds of modern civilization, in an ancient culture whose mythology, literature, and philosophy is still admired today. Anyone with an interest in ancient history or archeology will find something to like in Greece: Quest for the Gods. The documentary is sixty minutes long, and is the seventh installment in Richard Bangs' "Adventures with Purpose" series.
