Rideback is a Japanese anime series based on the manga of the same name that takes place years in the future, when advanced technology has created a robotic vehicle called the "Rideback," a mechanical transportation machine that interacts with the rider, responding to his or her movements. The Rideback is very difficult to control, and most people are not well suited for it. Nana Mizuki provides the voice of Rin Ogata, a beautiful young woman who is forced to give up on her promising career as a ballet dancer after a terrible injury prevents her from dancing anymore. However, she discovers that her natural grace, combined with her years of physical training, provide her with the perfect skill set for operating the Rideback.
