Bridget cleverly dodges the baby issue by an impromptu miscarriage ploy, resulting in the grieve and compassion of her entire family. Trying hard not to pry on their suffering, she confides in Juliet that she doesn't really want to try for another baby any time soon.

Andrew grows increasingly upset by the news, banking on the baby this "new and improved" Siobhan he hoped that would last, the actor making an extremely good job at showing someone who would rather reject first hoping an eventual rejection wouldn't hurt as much to him.

Its almost inevitable for Bridget to put everything on hold to tend the emotional needs of "her husband", risking exposure, Malcom and her own private investigation of Gemma's whereabouts to assure Andrew that, baby or no baby, she wants to make their marriage work.

  • Maybe We Can Get a Dog Instead?

    9.0

Maybe We Can Get a Dog Instead? was a superb episode of Ringer and I really enjoyed watching this episode because Sarah M. Gellar had many great scenes where she had to switch between Bridget and Shiobhan, and Bridget as Shiobhan. Bridget gets deeper into her complex situation after a check up at the doctors reveals something shocking, and Shiobhan's plans continue to break up as Andrew unexpectedly asks Tyler to New York to discuss business and he sees Bridget as Shiobhan. There was a lot of character and plot development, and Juliet's character seems to be going somewhere taboo. I look forward to watching the next episode!!!!!!!

  • I wonder how much more pressure Bridget can take?

Poor Bridget is really having a tough time lately. First of all, there is Malcolm in her life again, and, of course, Gemma's disappearance and telling everyone that she has an identical twin. On top of that, she faints at an evening gala and has to endure an ultrasound to 'check' on the baby. Andrew is devastated when he learns that she has obviously recently suffered a miscarriage and even Juliet is very upset even while she struggles with her own problems at school and the crush she has on her teacher.

Things become even more complicated when Siobhan's lover meets Bridget in New York and thinks that he has been double crossed.

    Must-see television. Excellent episode.moreless
