I own and watched this season on DVD. It is a good mix of cooking show, description of a small holders live and country live. Hugh is a very good presenter and pulls you into show.

This is the third season of the show and Hugh thinks about what it would take to stay in river cottage. He sees the results of his work of the previous years and has to deal with the increased number of animals on his farm and their needs. You also see how he integrated into the rural community and meet some of his friends.moreless
