  • Another Perfect Ending

    10
Another great season finale adds to my note about Rizzoli And Isles. Like I said before, they tend to really save the best for the last. But compared to the first season, this season has many good and strong episodes. As usual, Sasha and Angie are just flowing and spreading their chemistry around. The suspense ending of the season that might change Jane and Maura relationship, is quite good. I must admit, I'm a sucker for happy endings. So I'm glad how things going on in the third season.moreless
  • Season Finale

    7.5
Rizzoli and Isles concluded its brief fall/winter run with a well-done season finale that was high on action, nearly drew you to tears and created possibly the biggest rift yet in the friendship of our two heroes.

Nice suspenseful ending after that perfectly-directed shootout at the burned building. This is the kind of thing that is shockingly rare with cop dramas these days, but Rizzoli and Isles gave us a great hour of TV.

    Loving the show right now.moreless

    • Jane Rizzoli: (referring to the firefighters) I never understood guys who wanted to run into burning buildings.
Maura Isles: (sarcastically) You chase murderers.
Jane: Not if they're on fire.

    • Maura Isles: I have a reservation at the Ivory Table. I could call and make it for four. We could double date.
Jane Rizzoli: Really. Why? Who's your date?
      Maura Isles: My mother.
Jane Rizzoli: Oh, so, you, me, Gabriel, and your mother. How can I say no?
Maura Isles: You're being sarcastic, aren't you?
Jane Rizzoli: Very. If it was anyone but you, I'd say that's the creepiest idea ever.

    • Vince Korsak: Bunch of white guys sued the Boston fire department in 2001. Claimed that their affirmative action hiring plan was discriminatory. Craig Hill was African American.
Barry Frost: Not bad for the old white guy.
Vince Korsak: Now, that's harassment, Frost.
Barry Frost: What, the old part or the white part?
