The case was interesting, but what I liked more was the fact that Jane had more dialogue with fellow detectives Korsak and Frost due to the fact that Maura wouldn't divulge person information. I like Korsak and Frost very much and it was great to see them more. I am also happy that Maura's judge of character wasn't questioned in the end because the reason Ian was wanted for questioning was, in a nutshell, because he was a good person doing what he could for people without. "My Own Worst Enemy" was not a very strong installment of Rizzoli and Isles. This is a show that has been having a solid season thus far, but what has stuck out moreso than the memorable episodes have been the ones that are sub-par and pretty generic and this one was. They focused too much on the odd dynamic with Maura and Jane in this episode instead of the case at hand, it led to the wrong kind of show tonight. Yeah, people watch for that relationship, but that's not the only reason why.
