A solid episode of Rizzoli and Isles tonight. The show proved that it can get dark when it needs to be, but for the most part it was a solid all-around episode. I was a little bit disappointed by how it ended, but I still give it my recommendation for a watch.

  • QUOTES (2)

    • Jane Rizzoli: You stole a vial of Hoyt's blood?
Maura Isles: Well... technically, sort of. Gosh, I guess it is stealing.
Jane Rizzoli: If he files charges, I'll be your character witness.
Maura Isles: (concerned) I don't want to get arrested!
Jane Rizzoli: You're not gonna get arrested. Take it to the crime lab.
Maura Isles: I only need enough to do a staining, just to see if cancer cells are present.
Jane Rizzoli: Great. Scientific Inquiry. Not stealing. Let's go.
Maura Isles: (still concerned) You're sure?
      Jane Rizzoli: Yes, I'm positive.

    • Frankie Rizzoli: That's okay. I didn't want to be a detective anyway.
Maura Isles: Then why is he taking the exam?
      Jane Rizzoli: That's sarcasm.
Maura Isles: Using irony to convey contempt?
Jane Rizzoli: Are you trying to drive me crazy?
Maura Isles: No! Wha-what did I say?
