A solid episode of Rizzoli and Isles tonight. The show proved that it can get dark when it needs to be, but for the most part it was a solid all-around episode. I was a little bit disappointed by how it ended, but I still give it my recommendation for a watch.

- When Rizzoli first encounters Hoyt in the hospital, he directs her attention to a book on the table near his bed, and he tells her how he loves murder mysteries. The book is The Silent Girl by Tess Gerritsen published in July 2011. It is the ninth book in the Jane Rizzoli and Maura Isles series of novels which are the basis for this TV series
