He has been teaching for many years and is a Buddhist himself, in addition to translating numerous traditional texts on the subject from Tibet. Due to the flood of immigration, resources are scarce and the effects on the environment of such a demographic boom are devastating the landscape. He talks about modern day and ancient Tibet, and covers historical events such as the Chinese invasion of Tibet and the development of the monastic system.
