There was not a lot of action in this episode. But what it lacked in action, it made up for in details. Its Robin's birthday and Mudge has planned a surpise party. It quickly goes from bad to worse for the gang.
The gang is trapped in a barn. They are not sure how to get out of this one. They are facing their mortality. So, it is decided that each person would speak from their heart. That each would be truthful about their feelings. It is such an intimate scene that it feels as though the viewer is intruding. The acting is strong and solid. I found myself looking at each character in a different light. There are even revelations made outside the barn. Marian finds herself in trouble once again when rushes into a situation without thought. Gisbourne wears his heart on his sleeve. The war that he wages with himself over the person he is, and the person he can be is clearly evident. Gisbourne has truly got it bad for the sweet maid Marian.
There are other interesting plot twists. I don't want to give anything away. It was a great episode. There was just enough humor to remind us of the show that we are watching. But, there is some strong drama in this one folks. You won't be disappointed.
