  • This episode gives the viewer a glimps into the heart and soul of the characters of Robin Hood.

There was not a lot of action in this episode. But what it lacked in action, it made up for in details. Its Robin's birthday and Mudge has planned a surpise party. It quickly goes from bad to worse for the gang.

The gang is trapped in a barn. They are not sure how to get out of this one. They are facing their mortality. So, it is decided that each person would speak from their heart. That each would be truthful about their feelings. It is such an intimate scene that it feels as though the viewer is intruding. The acting is strong and solid. I found myself looking at each character in a different light. There are even revelations made outside the barn. Marian finds herself in trouble once again when rushes into a situation without thought. Gisbourne wears his heart on his sleeve. The war that he wages with himself over the person he is, and the person he can be is clearly evident. Gisbourne has truly got it bad for the sweet maid Marian.

There are other interesting plot twists. I don't want to give anything away. It was a great episode. There was just enough humor to remind us of the show that we are watching. But, there is some strong drama in this one folks. You won't be disappointed.
  • Wait...Wait, give me a second, still dying with laughter.

First off the 300 reference, nice. But of course the biggest part of this episode (at least to me) would have to be the Kalila Dimna. So Djag finally tells Will she loves him, this was hilarious and at the same time scary, I don't do confessions well and I was under my covers during her "I love one of you more" speech, from the time she hit "like a bird would fly two thousand miles" I was out. But I loved Will's response; it's about time someone told Djaq about her silly voice. Great episode now all I have to do is wait for the finale.
  • The gang is trapped and have no hope for rescue. Or do they....

A very good episode especially Allan's part. Although I highly dislike the confessions between Djaq and Will. Much and Robin's are way better on every level. It is also less Marian in this one and that's always a plus, even though Lucy Griffiths is the best Marian to ever be, Marian is an awful character. So what happened to her doesn't bother me that much, but I dread the replacement to be honest, cause even though she's not a good character the creators can do a lot worse. Hopefully series 3 will have a lot more Allan and Will than the first two have had.
  • I loved this episode, even though it made me cry!!! Romance and tragedy...

WOW! I loved this episode SO much, even though I cried for about ten minutes afterwards, and spent the last half of the second episode scared stiff!!

I absolutely loved the way that Djaq and Will admitted their love for each other, it was so sweet :) I also loved the way that even when they were confessing their love for each other they still laugh... It just really made me smile :D I think that Bassam giving Djaq and Will his blessing, and Will understanding Djaq'a love for birds just made their relationship even sweeter ^^. I love the secret smiles that they give each other, it's good to have some subtlety :D

I can't believe that they killed Marian. I honestly can't believe it! I feel so sorry for Robin, after all that Guy killed her... I do think that the way she died was VERY well done though, it reduced me to tears almost straight away! I think it was a really nice touch that they got married. It almost made it seem slightly better.

So the King is finally coming back, but Marian is dead. In the next series I suppose that Robin and the King will be fighting the Black Knights... I wonder whether Much will get Bonchurch...? :D

Maybe Will and Djaq will return next series? I have no idea, but it would be nice :D if they don't then Robin won't have many merry men!!

All in all a fantastic episode. I thought that the retu rn of Carter was a good touch, it showed that the other episode related to this one. Brilliant... although Marian shouldn't have died... :(

I can't wait until next series!!
