    • Trivia

      ADD TRIVIA
      • The Sheriff calls St. Luke the "divine physician". Christian tradition does indeed teach that St. Luke, who authored the third synoptic Gospel and was one of the Seventy Apostles, was also a physician. Edit
      • Sheriff: Tomorrow is St. Barnabas's Day. St. Barnabas's Day is June 11. St. Barnabas was a companion of St. Paul the Apostle. He was killed for refusing to cease preaching the Christian faith. Edit
      • The Sheriff declares that Tuck is to be "racked, drawn, and quartered" for his crimes. This method of execution is a fictional variation of a method of execution known as being hanged, drawn, and quartered. Only traitors to the crown were executed in this manner; he (women were never executed in this manner) would be hanged by his neck until he was half-dead; then he would be disemboweled and emasculated; finally, he would be beheaded, and his limbs cut off, thus dividing his body into "quarters". This method of execution was, in fact, not used until the late 13th century. Edit

      • Much: I wanna help you... I care about you... Kate. Kate: Why are you doing this? Much: Because... I think you're perfect. Kate: Perfect? (Much nods) Is that a joke? Much: Oh I look at you, and I want to... protect you. Edit
      • (The Sheriff is about to execute Tuck) Sheriff: Beautiful day. Almost makes you want to burst into song. Tuck: You start; I'll harmonize. Edit

      ADD ALLUSIONS
      • Abbott: In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. This verse is Genesis 1:1, the very beginning of the Holy Bible. Edit
      • Tuck: If I give all that I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. 2 Cor. 13:3 A quote from St. Paul's famous passage on the importance of love in the First Epistle to the Corinthians. Edit
