  • Robin Williams: Always nice to watch but a little repetitive on the subjects approached. Even though still able to rip out some nice laughs

No doubt, when comes to stand-up to this man it's like riding a bike. Always with is switch of voices and impersonations wich became a trademark. The show is filled with great moments, starting on the way this man works with the audience. When it comes to politics he can play it so well either by analogies or impressions. Drugs or alchool are always fully and well explored and and tthe same time explaining the effects on a very funny and simple way, but there is an exception, the "Fu** it all" drug is as repetetive as it is a bit forced on the way that he exploits older worldwide events that are long behind us. The fuels alternatives and the evolution of cars is greatly done and performed. Using animals is one of his strong points when he refers to racoons (recycle agents), deers (supermodels with hooves), bucks and coyotes (dogs on crack). Porn movies skit is awsome the whole screenplay for a porn movie and the skill of the actors is so well taken advantage of. But not everything went well, starting by the "In god we trust" bill scene wich (if you've seen) have already used in previous of his stand-ups. Human body design scene is very plain and ordinary, which seemed to me like filling in. Also the transitions between jokes weren't always done in the best way, looking a bit random and not with the "flow", example of that are the Oprah to olympics scene, animals to tornados scene (this scene was a bit two-sided, the tornado names was used in previous shows of his but the names and respective jokes were brilliant) and the dementia to open heart surgery scene (forced transition and he hit the heart surgery key more that he should). But the wrongs are enough to turn off one of the best stand-up comedians, still fun to watch.moreless
