The Emperor's phone has the same ring as the CTU phones on "24."
During the Mo-Larr segment, Grizzlor was one of the two villains that appeared from Skeletor's castle. Strangely enough, Grizzlor is part of Hordack's Horde from the animated series She-Ra: Princess of Power. He wasn't part of Skeletor's group in the He-Man: Master of the Universe series.
The tooth Mo-Larr was supposed to take out a wisdom tooth but he took out a tooth in the front instead.
Man (To Ted Turner/Captain Planet): You got glass in my eye!
Ted Turner: And my foot in your balls!
Hal Sparks: (after making out with a doll of himself) It's not gay! It's masturbation!
The Emperor: (On phone to Darth Vader) Vader! How's my favorite Sith? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, just slow down. Huh? What do you mean, "They blew up the Death Star"? (Bleep)! Oh, (Bleep), (Bleep), (Bleep)! Who's "they"? What the hell is an "Aluminum Falcon"? (Sighs) Okay. Okay, so--so who's left? Are you sh(bleep)ng me? Well where are you? Wait a sec, you've been flying around for two weeks trying to get a signal? Ugh, you must smell like...feet wrapped in leathery...burnt...bacon. Oh, oh, oh. I'm-I'm sorry I thought my "Dark Lord of the Sith" could protect a small thermal exhaust port that's only two meters wide. The thing wasn't even fully paid off yet! Do you have--Do you have any idea what this is gonna do to my credit?
(Another line on the phone rings.)
The Emperor: Uhh! Hang on, I got another call. (switches phone line) WHAT?! I'm very busy right now!...Oh. Oh, well...well where are they going? Huh, all right, um...get me a turkey club. Uh...coleslaw, I guess. I'm-I'm not even gonna eat it. Well wha-wha-what are you getting? Yeah, see? I-I always order the wrong thing. No, no, no, I'll just stick with that. Okay, bye--wait, what? Oh, uh, Cherry Coke. Thanks.
(The Emperor switches back to Darth Vader's phone line.)
The Emperor: Sorry about that. (Sighs) What? Oh, oh, "Just rebuild it"? Oh, uh huh, how real (Bleep)ing original! And who's gonna give me a loan, jackhole? You? You got an ATM on that torso LiteBrite? Now, get your seven-foot-two asthmatic ass back here, or I'm gonna tell everyone what a whiny bitch you were about "Pound-a-mommy" or "Panda Bear" or whatever the hell her name is!
Pan Global Executive: Argh! You got glass in my eye!
Ted Turner: And my foot in your balls! CAPTAIN PLANET!
Grizzlor: (To Mo-Larr, after he gets stabbed in the eye with a dental drill) How come Beast-Man got the dental floss, and I get the f***ing drill in my eye?!?
Ted Turner: (dressed like Captain Planet) Protect the environment, or I'll *bleep* kill you!
Ted Turner: CAPTAIN PLANET!

This is Master Shake's second appearance in Robot Chicken. His first came in the first episode of the second season.
The Humping Robot and Skeletor make another appearance in this episode.
Ocean's 11
The "Slip N' Slide" movie trailer taking place in the casino with George Clooney is a direct reference to the film Ocean's 11, even the movie poster is designed much like that of the sequel, Ocean's 12.
Star Wars
The sketch where Emperor Palpatine receives a call from Darth Vader parodies the aftermath of the 1977 Star Wars film, A New Hope. The sketch is held on the planet Coruscant, which is featured in the prequels and later edited into Return of the Jedi.
The "aluminum falcon" the Emperor asks about is a misinterpretation of Han Solo's ship, the Millenium Falcon.
Chutes and Ladders
The title for the fake movie trailer, Chutes and Ladders, is based on the Milton Bradley/Hasbro board game.
The movie that is directly being parodied is Starsky & Hutch, which also starred Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, in which they must work as partners in the police force.
Also being parodied in the segment of the trailer with Ben Stiller is Dodgeball, Meet the Parents, There's Something About Mary, and Along Came Polly.
Best Week Ever
The sketch, Best Robot Chicken Ever, is a parody of the VH1 show, Best Week Ever. Hal Sparks and Micheal Ian Black are regulars of the VH1 show, while Master Shake is an animated character from Adult Swim's Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
Captain Planet
Captain Planet was an animated series from the early 90's created by none other than Ted Turner. The show promoted environmental awareness while giving action to keep the viewers interested, and the show lasted six seasons. It is still shown on TV today, especially on Ted Turner's own network, TBS.
In one segment, a doctor is asking a dog about what he's been sleeping on. The joke is that the dog, Snoopy of Peanuts comics, frequently sleeps face up on his doghouse.
Mortal Kombat
The popular Mortal Kombat character Johnny Cage was absent from the series for a while, which upset many fans. The skit with Johnny Cage and Kano (another Mortal Kombat character) is a reference to his absence.
