    • Charlotte's Web: The sketch where the spider writes on a web: "$4.99 a lb." (in reference to the pig,) is an obvious nod to the book written by E.B. White, and two movies based on that book, where a spider named Charlotes writes words in her web to save her pig friend, Wilbur, and his life. The movies are the 1973 Hanna-Barbara animated movie, and the 2006 live action Paramount movie.

    • Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers:
The costume that Randy wears is the power suit of the original Pink Ranger on the show, Amy Jo Johnson as Kimberly from 1993-1995.

    • Goosebumps: The Haunted Mask.
The part where Randy puts on the helmet and he's worried when he can't get it off might be an allusion to both the book and the T.V. episode version of R.L. Stine's story about a girl named Carly Beth who buys a scary mask to get revenge for being scared, only to discover that she can't take off the mask!
