  • The Fat One it is. Although Robot Chicken pretty much can\'t fail, this episode was not that good.

Good episode. It had some good parts yet it was definetly missing some of Robot Chicken\'s finest humor. Of course it\'s still good but not amongs my favorite episodes.

The Fat One fighst Nortal Kombat (one of my favorite parts). The Fat One fights Hello Kitty, Ninja Turtles and others and finally takes out the demonoid we all now teen pop singers are.

Also, the static channel porn was hilarious.

    M. Night Shyamalan Tiwists were unbelievable. I really felt every single twist was incredible and rocked my world.

In fact... no they did not! What a Twist!

Beware of Britney Spears for she always does return!moreless
  • One sketch stands out on this episode as Joey Fatone survives his N'Sync members, and goes toe-to-toe with Britney Spears.

I love Robot Chicken. It's a demented, twisted and distubing series staring puppets and toys as we've never seen them; it's easier to describe favorite scenes and sketches than fave shows, and this episode has one of my faves. In it, Joey Fatone survives the murder of his bandmates and trains under Pat Morita, bashing "The Karate Kid," one of the stupidest movies in history, in the process. Joey goes on to discover that Britney Spears unable to take the competition wiped out his bandmates just before she merges with her peers, Jessica, Christina, Ashley and Avril, to become a giant to take over the world. Joined by the spirits of his teammates, Joey takes her on in one of the most spirited and lively battles ever, a sketch that definitely needs a sequel. As long as Robot Chicken turns out material like this, I'll continue to be a fan.moreless

This episode was mainly about N'SYNC getting back together and Joey Fat-One fighting for rath for his fellow band members. • NOTES (9)

  • ALLUSIONS (10)

    • When Joey is fighting the Britney/Christina/Ashlee/Jessica/Avril hybrid, he shouts, "I'm doing my thing!", "Don't you tear up my heart!", "God should've spent a little more time on you!", and then his bandmates cry "Bye, Bye, Bye" as they leave his body. "Do Your Thing", "Tearin' up My Heart", "God Must've Spent a Little More Time on You", and "Bye, Bye, Bye" are the names of four *Nsync songs.

    • Enter the Dragon

The title of the main segment 'Enter the Fat One' is a parody of the 1973 Bruce Lee kung-fu movie Enter the Dragon, which was the first American produced martial arts film.

    • Q*Bert

At the beginning of the Signs parody, the language the aliens speak when they're first seen is actually sound samples from the video game Q*Bert. Whenever the player lost a life in any manner, apart from jumping off the pyramid, Q*Bert made a sound caused by a random stringing of syllables.

    • SuperFriends

Britney Spears utters "Inuk-chuk before she grows, which was the phrase the Apache Chief used to grow huge in SuperFriends.

    • G.I. Joe

During the 2nd act of 'Enter The Fat One,' Joey's 2nd opponent, Storm Shadow, reveals that he has the same tattoo as Joey. This tattoo is a reference to the Marvel G.I. Joe comic book. The tattoo is the symbol of the Arashikage Clan, of which Snakes Eyes and Cobra Commander's son, Billy, were members. Other G.I. Joe members, classic and future, that were a part of the clan were Jinx, Kamakura, and Nunchuk.

    • "Reaganomics" was the name for President Ronald Reagan's federal plan for improving the economy by ending inflation and perfecting the nation's defense in the 1980s.

    • The black and white robot that Joey Fatone fights in the tournament is Great Mazinger, a famous anime mecha from a TV series of the same name. Seth Green is a big fan of the Mazinger series, so RC got all the details right, including Great's use of its rocket punch attack (called Atomic Punch) and the jet fighter in the head (the Brain Condor) popping out of the defeated robot. Great Mazinger can also be seen in the Mazinkaiser OVA series.

    • This is a reference to the early days of satellite TV. Back when you needed a massive dish in the back yard. Porn channels came in fuzzy and scrambled much like you see in sketch. Many people didn't bother having it unscramble and watched it that way. Hence the gag.

    • The third ninja fights in training is another Mortal Kombat character named Smoke.

    • Scorpion: Come here you!
The two ninjas (sub-zero and scorpion) that Joey fights are from a very popular video game called "Mortal Kombat"
