  • The first episode of the third season was not as well as Robot Chicken's standards.

    8.5
I'll review this as the list says.

I liked the opening sequence very much. It's very funny how the zombies get jobs at the office. I give it a 9.

The Defenders of Earth is ok, but not as good. The stupid heroes can defend a street, but not Earth. It makes for a funny skit but not well excuted. I give it a 7.8

The Soundwave skit was the only one I thought was funny. It was also nice to hear Frank Welker bring back his old roles of Megatron and Soundwave. Rumble's death was the only thing that throw off the funny of the skit. I give it a 9.5

The Shouter ad was also funny. A device that allows you to cuss out loud and the lights turn off. I give it a 9.5

The Governor Schwarzenegger skit was okay. That's all I have to say about this one. I give it a 8.

The Stoop!d Monkey I give a 7.7 because of the overall lack of funny in this episode also didn't bring any funny to the Stoopid Monkey.moreless

Conincidentally, there is a real Resurrection Cemetery in Justice on the South Side of Chicago, the home of the famous phantom known as "Resurrection Cemetery."

    • Each of the characters "murdered" at the end of the second season have weird epitaphs on their tombstones. The few that can be made out:

Robot Chicken - Free At Last
Tom Root - Dead And Loving It
Humping Robot - Beloved Husband,Father, Veteran
Douglas Goldstein - Probably for the Best
      Seth Green - Cha-Ching

    • AdultSwim.com Fix Air date: August 10, 2007.

    • According to the Adult Swim Interactive Video for this episode, one problem the writing team ran into was "resurrecting" the Robot Chicken crew for the third season.

Originally, they wanted to resurrect the Robot Chicken in a similar fashion to the Aqua Teen Hunger Force episode, "Video Ouija."

They would spend weeks tyring to write a comeback that didn't involve zombies, such as time traveling and having Mike Crofford flying around the Earth several times, similar to the ending of the Christopher Reeve Superman movie.

They came up with so many ideas that Mike Lazzo had suggested the producers doing an entire episode of season openings, which did not happen.

    • Breckin Meyer does not reprise his role of Superman. Instead, Seth Green voices him here, because the producers ran out of budget.

Frank Welker reprises his role of Megatron and Soundwave from the TV show "The Transformers."

    • This is the first episode that didn't show the Mad Scientist experiment on the Robot Chicken!

  • ALLUSIONS (2)

    • Seth Green: "Cha-Ching"
On Seth Green's tombstone, the words below his name are: "CHA-CHING."

During the early 1990's, Seth appeared in commercials for Rally's Hamburgers as the window cashier, sparking the catchphrase "Cha-Ching!" The tombstone marking is a reference to Seth's commercial work.

    • The Clapper:
The short segment of The Shouter is an obvious reference/parody of the infamous device known as The Clapper.
