EDIT
Heat I
AIRED:
It's Heat I and we're halfway through the competition. The #16 seeds and New Blood Champions, Storm II are back, now with an electric lifter, similar to BattleBots' Biohazard, only a lot faster!! Robot Stitistics Mayhem Weight: 100 kilos Weapons: High Energy Disc Strengths: Strong Armor Weaknesses: Exposed Wheels Rhino Weight: 98 Kilos Weapons: High Pressure Flipper and Disc Strengths: Destructive Weapons Weaknesses: Driver Needs More Practice Shredder Evolution Weight: 100 Kilos Weapons: Twin Counter Spinning Discs Strengths: Strong Armor Weaknesses: Hasn't Got Any Steel Avenger Weight: 100 Kilos Weapons: Pnumatic Axe Strengths: Tough with Powerful Weapon Weaknesses: High Ground Clearence Storm II Seated: 16th and New Blood Champion Weight: 100 Kilos Weapons: Interchangable Weapons Strengths: Destructive Speed Weaknesses: Hard to Control Sub-version 1.1 Weight: 100 Kilos Weapons: Pnumatic Spikes and Cutters Strengths: Self-Righting Weaknesses: Thin Armor at Rear Supernova Weight: 95 kilos Weapons: Spinning Disc Strengths: Fast With Powerful Weapon Weaknesses: Thin Armor Trax Weight: 100 Kilos Weapons: Flipper and Axe Strengths: Unique Flipper Weaknesses: None Found Fight 1: Mayhem Vs Rhino Vs Storm II Vs Supernova House Robots: Sir Killalot and Matilda This fight started with Storm II SLAMMING the giant Rhino into the arena side wall. Mayhem was knocked out early on and was counted out. They were then launched through the air and came crashing down. Storm then slammed Supernova into Sir Killalot, ripping off the House Bot's tracks! Matilda then added insult to injury by hitting Mayhem with her flywheel. Storm then slammed Supernova into the CPZ side walls. Supernova litteraly exploded. Rhino and Sir Killalot were limping, but were still mobile. Supernova was counted out. Rhino and Storm go through. Fight 2: Shredder Evolution Vs Trax vs Sub-Version 1.1 Vs Steel Avenger House Robots: Dead Metal and Sgt. Bash Sub-Version drove over Trax. Steel Avenger axed Shredder and roasted them on the flame pit. Shredder escaped and Trax flipped Steel Avenger over, reveling "Who Did That?" which was painted on Steel Avenger's underside. Steel Avenger used their axe and self-righter to flip themselves back onto their wheels. Sub-Version, driven by the Royal Navy, pressed the Pit Release button, and nearly drove themselves down the Pit! Steel Avenger axed Shredder again and once again dragged them towards the Flame Pit, but then Trax flipped the Avenger over again. Trax then pushed Sub-Version down the Pit just as time ran out. Steel Avenger and Trax won on a judges' decision. Fight 3: Trax Vs Storm II House Robots: Mr. Psycho and Growler Tracks? How's that supposed to save you from a 25 MPH robot? Storm II kept shoving Trax around throughout the entire battle, using their lifter to no great effect, but why bother? At least it's an active weapon. Trax could not avoid the robot who had more power and more horses under the bonnet than the UK Champs, Tornado. And when they did, they drove right next to Mr. Psycho and nearly got hammered. Storm then pressed the Pit Button, inevetably ripping it right off of the wall! Storm spun a 360 and tried to push Trax down the Pit. Trax just WANTED to go down the Pit, but then time ran out. Storm II won. Fight 4: Rhino Vs Steel Avenger House Robots: Growler and Mr. Psycho Steel Avenger axed Rhino several times. Rhino could not get a grip nor a flip on the experienced machine. Steel Avenger pressed (and wrecked) the Pit Release, then tried to push Rhino down the Pit. Rhino was already dead, but because of its bulbous size, Steel Avenger could not get it down the Pit. At one point, Steel Avenger nearly fell in himself! But finally, the Rhino was pitted and moves on to face the #16 seeds, Storm II in the final. There was no special event tonight. Instead, they showed clips on robots that were through to the Series Semi-Finals. Gravity is AWESOME! Heat Final: Steel Avenger Vs Storm II House Robots: Growler and Cassius Chrome Speed Vs Experience. Who would win? Well, actually it was speed. Storm rammed Steel Avenger so hard into the arena wall. Both robots then started driving around in circles in front of the Ref-cam. Steel Avenger's axe came down, but ended up missing Storm completely and axed the arena floor. They were finally able to pull it out, but then Storm slammed them into Growler. Steel Avenger escaped from the fast House Robo-dog. Too fast...too fast! Storm got underneath Steel Avenger, and without using their lifter, SLAMMED Steel Avenger so hard into the arena wall, they went flying out! Storm II flies through to the Series Semi-Finals! Storm II's a good robot. It's WAY faster than Tornado. Will that help them in the Semis? We'll find out later...much later.moreless
