EDIT
Heat K
AIRED:
The #12 seeds and reining Tag-Team champions, Bulldog Breed are back in action. Tough as a bulldog, meaner than Growler, but have never made it past the Heat Final. Can they move on to the series semi-finals this year? Robot Stitistics Mantis From: Nottinghamshire Weight: 100 kilos Weapons: Hydraulic Crusher and Lifter Strengths: Masive Lifting Capibility Weaknesses: Unprotected Wheels Infernal Contraption From: Lincolnshire Weight: 97 Kilos Weapons: Rotating Drum Strengths: Vicious Weapon Weaknesses: Random Control Bulldog Breed Seated: 12 From: Staffordshire Weight: 100 kilos Weapons: Flipper Strengths: Tough Weaknesses: Absolutly NONE! Jabber From: Nottinghamshire Weight: 91 Kilos Weapons: Spinning Blade Strengths: Destructive Weaponry Weaknesses: Thin Armour Hard From: Belgium Weight: 100 kilos Weapons: Flipper Strengths: Strong Armor Weaknesses: Unprotected Wheels Velocirippa From: Nottinghamshire Weight: 97 Kilos Weapons: Flipper Strengths: Self-righting Weaknesses: Weak Armor T-Wrecks Weight: 80 kilos Weapons: Rotating Body with Teeth Strengths: Indestructible Weaknesses: NONE! Kat 3 From: Surrey Weight: 98 kilos Weapons: Pnumatic Axe Strengths: Strong Armor Weaknesses: Driver Fight 1: Mantis Vs Infernal Contraption Vs Bulldog Breed Vs Jabber House Robots: Sgt. Bash and Mr. Psycho The fight started with Bulldog Breed slamming Infernal Contraption into the CPZ, and nearly flipping them out of the arena! Mantis then lifted Jabber up and dug their claw into Jabber's armor. Mantis then dumped Jabber next to Bash. Infernal Contraption slammed into Bash, but escaped. Bulldog Breed then rear-ended Mantis while they were pressing the Pit Button. Throughout the rest of the fight, Bulldog Breed was dragging something along behind them. When time ran out, everyone later learned that Bulldog Breed had been keeping mesh netting underneath their flipper! According to the WARS rules, mesh is illegal. It can tangle into flywheels and cause mishaps. Mantis was obviously through, but who else would join them? Down in the pits, Tony Somerfield told judge Derek Roxwell that the mesh was to protect the cylinders. Derek told them not to use it again, so Bulldog Breed goes through to the next round. Fight 2: Hard Vs Velocirippa Vs T-Wrecks Vs Kat 3 House Robots: Mr. Psycho and Cassius Chrome This fight was pretty cool. Velocirippa slammed into Kat 3. Mr. PSycho then hammered T-Wrecks. Kat 3 axed the floor by accident. All 4 robots bunched up and Cassius had to come out and seperate them. Hard nearly flipped Velocirippa out of the arena a few times. T-Wrecks then sent Velocirippa flying. Hard then pushed T-Wrecks down the Pit. Velocirippa blew its engine. Hard and Kat 3 pushed Velocirippa down the Pit as well. Hard and Kat move on! Special Event: Middleweight Final House Robots: Dead Metal and Growler Typhoon From: Edinbourgh, Scotland Weight: 50 kilos Weapons: Rotating Body with spikes Strengths: N/A Weaknesses: No Sriemch Phoenix Weight: 42 Kilos Weapons: Lifter Strengths: N/A Weaknesses: N/A Steel Sandwich From: East Sussex Weight: N/A Weapons: Low Wedge with Spikes Strengths: Low Ground Clearence Weaknesses: Low Power *I wrote N/A because there were no stitistics for the robots in this episode. Phoenix and Steel Sandwich went after the reining Middleweight champions. Armed with only wedges, it was going to be pretty tough. Typhoon flew off of Steel Sandwich, then stopped spinning. This fight sucked. Even Refbot was getting bored, pressing the Pit button. Phoenix broke down and was counted out by the Ref. Typhoon got moving again and hit Steel Sandwich once more, disabling their left drive wheel. Growler pushed Phoenix onto the floor flipper. The Flight of the Phoenix! The 42 kilo robot was launched all the way to the other side of the arena. Typhoon pushed Steel Sandwich into the Pit. Typhoon are the Middleweight champions for the 3rd year in a row!! Unbeatable. Fight 3: Hard Vs Bulldog Breed House Robots: Matilda and Mr. Psycho Bulldog Breed is on yellow card. The mesh is gone, and they're angry! In the fight, they showed Hard no mercy. They kept flipping towards the arena side wall trying to flip them out, but failed. Refbot counted Hard out. Mr. Psycho tried to hit Hard with his hammer, but ended up hitting the arena guardrail instead! HA! Mr. Psycho picked Hard up, but then dropped him! Jonathan Pearce said that Mr. Psycho was being very clumsy. Hard was pushed onto the floor flipper and launched through the air. Then they were pushed onto the Drop Zone where a cooker came down on top of them. Talk about a "Hard" machine. The cooker was the only thing that was damolished! After a Psycho hammer blow, cease was called. Bulldog Breed moves on! Fight 4: Mantis Vs Kat 3 House Robots: Mr. Psycho and Matilda Mantis had no armor, and that was their downfall. Kat couldn't hit them at first, but a few times, they finally grabbed hold of Mantis, burying the spike into Mantis' pistons. Mantis got a few flips on Kat, but they were able to self-right. Eventually the fight went to the judges. It was close, but Kat 3 were the winners! Heat Final: Kat 3 Vs Bulldog Breed House Robots: Sir Killalot and Cassius Chrome Hmm, the Dog Vs the Kat. This should be interesting. Kat axed the floor a few times, but they were finally able to get at least 1 axe blow on Bulldog Breed. Bulldog Breed then flipped Kat 3 over, but Kat self-righted. Kat hit the pit button. Bulldog Breed then flipped Kat into Sir Killalot. One more flip sent Kat flying right smack on top of Sir Killalot's helmet! HA! Kat axed Bulldog Breed again, sparks flyin'. Cease was called. Bulldog Breed won the decision and moves on to the Series Semi-Finals for the first time. Lucky! On yellow card and Bulldog Breed still goes through to the semis. How will they do though? Will they win the money?moreless
