NOTE: The 'Summary' is switched with popsytm's summary, above, but only in the show-all view.
As you may have guessed from my 'Summary', this series about a robot (with the astonishingly lame name 'Robotboy') that can change from a cute toy to a larger, fully armed, destructive weapon, has pretty much been done before.
Robotboy is entrusted into the hands of a young boy (yeah, like every 10 year old gets to play with a one-of-a-kind, multi-million dollar, potential weapon of mass destruction!).
The biggest problem is that whoever controls Robotboy can make him either good or evil, so he has no free will. And his batteries need constant charging. Hasn't anyone heard of solar or nuclear power?
The boy and his friends are trite (very much like the 'Scoobies' in "American Dragon:Jake Long" or "Danny Phantom"), as are the bad guys, of which there isn't much variety, and the plots, dialogue, and artwork aren't much to talk about, either.
