This episode was probably meant to be aired as promotion to coincide with the release of Tamia's 3rd album "More" (which was released the prior April). The album features the song "Questions," which was heard in the show as her "latest single."
Beth: Haven't you learned by now that when I say, "I'm fine," I'm not, and when I say, "I'm not fine," I'm hungry?
Jimmy: Looks like my celebration sex just went from a duet to a solo!
Jimmy: Now look, stand together so I can see the looks of stunned amazement mixed with admiration, bordering on worship!
Beth: Oh God, he's gonna drop his pants!
Beth: I told her it was your dying wish.
Jimmy: Yeah, I'm not dying. And besides, you know my dying wish is to "not die."
Beth: Minor technicality.
Jimmy: Yeah, that's what you said after the condom broke... Nine months later, we got a minor technicality running around the apartment!
Pam: They're here to see Tamia. I'm gonna be booed off the stage faster than John Tesh on Soul Train!
Beth: Pam, you're fearless. Alright, remember that time you were wearing that short skirt and you told off those construction workers?
Pam: Well, they had some nerve not hittin on me!
Tamia: There's not a minute that goes by where I don't think about him.
Beth: Y'know, it's just like the way men think about sex. Right, guys?
Jimmy: I'm sorry, what? I was thinkin about somethin else.
Carl: Great job, Tamale.
Tamia: It's "Tamia."
Carl: Yeah, but aren't tamales delicious?
Carl: You two are helping out my ex-girlfriend? Don't you see Pam losing her job as God taking my side?
Jimmy: All right, Carl, if God were on your side, wouldn't you be taller?
Tammy Townsend (Pam) sings (a variation of LaBelle's) "Lady Marmalade," as well as "You Make Me Feel (Like a Natural Woman)." Townsend and Tamia sing a duet of "Say a Little Prayer for You," and Tamia's song "Questions" is briefly heard and later performed.
Aired at a special time, 9:30 Eastern/8:30 Central.
