Go to rockstar.msn.com/ to see the reality show and to vote (on tuesday nights)
Windows Media Player is required to watch episodes and videos.
Adobe Flash Player 9 is also required.
It works best with Internet Explorer(IE).

Here's how I finally got the reality show video to work. I use Firefox but tried it in IE to no avail.

Yeah, open up the source code on the Rockstar site (like this: http://video.msn.com/vws/search/search.asmx/InternalSearch?search=rockstar%20supernova&country=us&index=1&count=200 ) and scroll down past all the tags and you'll see a line that will say something like:

    mms://msnvideo.wmod.llnwd.net/fc/a392/e1/8/mbr/201a_episode.wmv

(This is the first part of the first reality episode, for example).

The neat thing is they all follow this same pattern. So, the second week's reality show is http://music.msn.com/commerce/stream.aspx?streamurl=%20mms://msnvideo.wmod.llnwd.net/fc/a392/e1/8/mbr/301a_episode.wmv
Substituting the "201a" for "301a". There are four segments to each show, (a, b, c, d) but I usually skip "d" as that's just the "Coming up on the next Rockstar: Supernova" promo.

So, copy and paste that and open up Windows Media Player (or VLC if you prefer), and click on "File" (upper left hand side) and "Open URL" and paste that little snippet in there, adjusting the "201a" for "201b", "201c", "301a", ect.

Supposedly last year they put the performance clips up before the show aired on the xml side but I haven't tried to watch performances in advance of the show airing. I like my evenings of rocking out with my wine and watching the show on TV, the old fashioned way, so I can't really comment on whether or not this will work this year.

Anyhow, that's the only way I could get it to work for me.

Am I the only one having issues with this weeks episode?  About half way into every segment it just stops and starts over.  Anyone else?

Yeah, same thing. It freezes up around Magni's bit with the video of his kid. Everyone is having that problem. Seems to be a problem with MSN's side.

Nope, sorry, no problem whatsoever.  I saw the whole thing clearly - although I wish I'd skipped the part with Magni's baby.  It was sad, watching Magni go to pieces over his son and the fact that he's missing him grow up.  Poor guy.

I watched it earlier today (Tuesday) and I didn't have a problem. I always forget to watch it on tv. Thankfully they put in on the site.

It can take a long time for the site to load, even with a supposed fast connection.

I have found if you have the site up before the voting starts that you have to refresh the homepage once the voting starts and then you can get into the voting right away.

Yes, the site takes a long time to load, so it would be best to load the site during or before the show begins. Well, where I come from, I have to vote by SMS (by phone text messaging) which isn't really too bad I guess and inexpensive too.
