He hears them laughing behind his bush. They tell Rocko all about Ding-Dong-Ditch and then show him first hand how to play it. They bring him to an apartment complex with hundreds of doorbells.

Rocko rings his first doorbell and forgets what to do after ringing it. He quickly tries to hid under the doormat just as the Hippo Lady opens her door. She finds him and he tells her all about Ding-Dong-Ditch. The Hippo Lady thinks that is the funniest she's ever heard. Rocko heads home and his doorbell goes off immediately. It's the Hippo Lady and she's still standing at is door. She starts laughing histaricly. Rocko tells her you are suppose to hide after ringing the bell.

Pretty soon there is an O-Town news break explaining that O-Town is under siege from a Ditching Door Ding Donger.

When Rocko get's home, Filburt and Heffer are waiting for him. They tell Rocko that the Door Ditching has gotten out of control and they have to leave before they get in to a lot of trouble. They quickly leave with their passports. Tired Rocko passes out on his living room floor. Soon after his doorbell goes off and wakes him up. When he answers the door their is a small S.W.A.T. army waiting outside. They cuff Rocko and take him to a van where the Hippo Lady is also cuffed, inside.

Rocko and the Hippo Lady are given a trial. Right as the Judge is about to sentence them, the Courts doorbell goes off. When the guards open the door, no one is there! Just then Heffer and Filburt come out and confess to the crimes. The Judge charges them as guilty just as they take a lunch break. After the trial Hippo Lady thanks Rocko for all the fun. Just then Rocko's phone starts ringing. He quickly answers it and a voice says: "Is your refrigerator working?" He answers: "Yeees." The voice says: "Well, you better go catch it because..." The voice stops and the scene changes to Filburt and Heffer telling the Judge who is on the phone he was suppose to say is your refrigerator running. The judge hangs up and Rocko is confused as ever.
