    • NOTES (2)

    • ALLUSIONS (3)

      • Fish N' Chumps - This entire episode is a parody of the thriller film Jaws.

      • Crappy Jack: He let out a scream that be heard at Davy Jones's locker. Mickey Dolenz's locker, too and Peter Tork's locker. All The Monkees had lockers . . .

Davy Jones, Mickey Dolenz, and Peter Tork were all members of the band, The Monkees (Michael Nesmith being the fourth member). The band was formed in 1965 and even had their own TV show, appropriately titled The Monkees.

      • Visual: The Rocky Horror Picture Show

When the castle takes off, it's still there because it was a prop house. This is similar to a scene from The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975).
