  • The High Five of Doom describes Filburt's apparently subtle takeover of Earth, while Fly Burgers shows how far Flecko the fly will go to make some money.

    "Great"
While Fly Burgers had more of the average insaneley weirdness that an "ordinary" Rocko episode would have, it's the Filburt-alien episode that really takes the cake. After finding Filburt's "diary," Rocko and Heffer believe that Filburt is an alien bent on the destruction of all humans with a simple yet irresistable high-five. This episode is one of my favorites, since not only does it have the same insanity as it does other episodes, but it mixes that in with some science fiction that really brings this episode on home. In conclusion, if nosy friends and turtle-disguised aliens are your genre, then give this episode a shot.moreless

    • In "The High Five of Doom," you can see someone painting the same design as Rocko's shirt during the Quarnoz film. Edit

    • (Rocko and Heffer are spying into Filburt's trailer, and see he has antennas on his head! They scream in terror, but their Tex Avery-esque eyes get stuck in the vent on the roof, and shake the trailer.) Filburt: (watching a Chewey Chicken commercial) Hey! What was that? TV Commercial: ...good taste? It truly is chew-a-licious! Filburt: I definitely heard something go BANG! (Heffer and Rocko attempt to pull their eyes out of the vent, but keep banging their heads on the roof as a result.) Filburt: Oh no, it's an earthquake! (Rocko and Heffer are freed from the vent) I HATE this planet! Edit
    • Heffer: Oh no! Listen to this! (reading from Filburt's diary) "It has come to my attention that my two Earth contacts--a wallaby and a steer--have stumbled onto my secret and must now be destroyed."! Filburt: (voice-over of what Rocko and Heffer are currently reading) "...I am headed over there to deal with them, right now. I am going to give them the Quarnozian High-Five of Death. And then no one will be able to stop us from taking over the world!" (upon reaching Rocko's house) Hi, guys! (Rocko and Heffer scream in fear) Edit
    • Rocko: (about Filburt's diary) Look, Heff. I let you see one page, will you be satisfied? Heffer: Yes, I'll be satisfied. (cut to the two reading the first page of the diary on the couch) Heffer: (reading aloud) "The Earth Log of Filburt Shellbach. 'I am an alien. For our evil plan to take over this puny planet, see next page.'" Edit

    • Heffer: Klaatu Barada Nikto! When Heffer tries speaking "alien," he borrows a phrase from the movie The Day The Earth Stood Still (1951). Edit
    • Heffer: ...burst out of someone's chest!? This is a reference to the movie Alien (1979), when an alien bursts out of Kane's chest, it's quite relevant because it seemed like Filbert was an alien. Edit
