Andy McNally: (with tears in her eyes) I know you're grieving, and I know we all grieve in our own way, but don't take this out on me.
Sam Swarek: I - I did take it out on you. I'm sorry.
Andy McNally: If you really blame me for Jerry-
Sam Swarek: I don't. I don't.
Andy McNally: Well, then why are you so mad at me?
Sam Swarek: I'm not mad. I just can't - I can't do this anymore.
Andy McNally: Can't do what?
Sam Swarek: I can't be a cop and be with you.
Andy McNally: Sam, this is not about our job.
Sam Swarek: We knew this was trouble even before we started, okay?
Andy McNally: Okay, look. I'm trying to talk to you, okay? I want to go through this with you. I know you're hurting.
Sam Swarek: Maybe you're right. Maybe I'm not myself. I don't know, okay? But this is my feeling, in my gut, right now. All right? I can't do this anymore.
Andy McNally: No. You don't mean this.
Sam Swarek: Someday we'll be able to be friends again.
Andy McNally: (voice breaking) Don't! Don't do that. Don't take everything that we are and button up our relationship with some stupid cliché. (crying) Are you saying it's over? (Sam just looks at her without saying anything) Then leave. Just get in your truck and go. (After a few seconds Sam actually leaves and Andy starts sobbing)
Traci Nash: (reading Jerry's speech for their wedding at the Black Penny) "Oliver, you know you're my brother. I can only hope that I'm half the husband you are and, when the time comes, half the dad. Sammy, the best man. No truer words were ever spoken. I trust you with my life because - because, no matter what happens, I know you'll always have my back. I love you, man. And to my beautiful wife Traci" -
Gail Peck: (Traci cannot control her tears and Gail takes over the reading) "And to my beautiful wife Traci. You aren't just part of my life. You are my life. You have taken this simple man and made him a king. Until the day I die you will always hold the key to my heart."
Sam Swarek: (in a fight with Andy about their current case) We are not one person, okay? I am tired of following around the voice inside your head. I should have listened to Jerry the other night. Instead I listened to you.
Andy McNally: Are you blaming me for Jerry?
Sam Swarek: I blame myself, okay? Because I'm stupid enough to get into the habit of listening to a rookie's instincts instead of my own. I - I really just needed to stay away from you for a little, okay? But you had to suck me into your day. I can't do it anymore.
