      • Sam Swarek: (Andy is leaving the precinct and Sam overtakes her at the parking lot) Hey. You need a ride?
Andy McNally: No, thanks. Actually, I'm just gonna walk. Sorry about tonight.
        Sam Swarek: You'll get better.
Andy McNally: (scoffs) Sure I will.
Sam Swarek: Look, it's my job, alright? Something happens to you, it's on me.
Andy McNally: It's okay, sir. I completely get it.
Sam Swarek: Alright. I don't want anything to happen to you.

      • Sam Swarek: Congratulations Epstein. Those guys you cuffed upstairs? Quick estimate I'd say they were unloading at least 40 unregistered weapons. Someone's making the news. Let's just hope they leave out the part where two rookies from 15 put a civilian's life in danger to make the bust.
Dov Epstein: Sir, we that it was-
Andy McNally: Sadie said it was safe.
Sam Swarek: Of course she said it was safe. The girl would have said anything not to go back to jail. The thing is, it is your job to know why people are saying what they're saying. You wanna be a cop, learn to read the signs. The two of you put a desperate woman's life in danger to make yourselves look good. (steps closer to Andy) And you nearly got yourself killed in the process. Nice work.

      • Sam Swarek: (Sam enters the women's locker room before the rookies go on their first undercover assignment as prostitutes) You, uh, always take this long figuring out what to wear?
Andy McNally: You always hang around women's locker rooms?
Sam Swarek: Hey, you started it. (Looking at the photos in Andy's locker) Oh, who's this?
Andy McNally: None of your business.
Sam Swarek: Right. (pointing at the mirror in her locker) Magnetic, huh? That's cool. Good idea.
Andy McNally: Sir. (Andy shows him her shirt, hinting at the fact that she wants to get changed)
Sam Swarek: You're ready for this, right?
        Andy McNally: For what?
        Sam Swarek: Tonight.
        Andy McNally: Yeah, of course.
Sam Swarek: Good. (smiles reassuringly at her and starts walking away) I like the leaopard print one.
Andy McNally: Oh good, good. Cause I'm wearing the green one.
