Episode Summary

The rookies are now entering their third year on the job and a new rookie has joined 15 Division. He's ex-soldier Nick Collins adapting to civilian policing after serving in Afghanistan. Andy is back after a three-month suspension for "conduct unbecoming an officer" because she jeopardized Swarek's undercover operation and, consequently, his life. She must face an official tribunal that will decide if she should be reinstated to active duty. As she reunites with her police family, she meets Nick, her possible replacement. A tense face-off with Sam is interrupted by a multi-car crash caused by a drunk driver. When a young girl goes missing from the scene, Andy ties her to a seven year old cold case. Now it's up to Andy, still on suspension, and the rest of the Division to find her. The big question still looming is whether Andy and Sam can reignite the passion.

  • Great premiere!

    9.5
This is one of my favorite shows on tv! I love the cast they all work well with each other! William Shatner was a great guest star.

We all knew Andy would get her job back. Andy is a great cop and her not backing down during the search for the little girl further proves how important her job is to her!

I love Sam and I think the two of them together are hot hot hot!

I like the new guy I am interested to find out what really happened with him and Gail!moreless

    • Andy McNally: (Sam has brought over Andy's luggage to her apartment and is about to leave again) Sam, just please, stay. Please, stay. Look. Sam, don't. (Sam stops) Just hear me out. I'm sorry. I know I said "yes". I meant "yes". Look, I thought about you every day. I missed you every single day. I don't know if what I did was the right thing, but I did it. Come on, we finally have the chance to actually start over. Not even start over, but to start.
Sam Swarek: Okay. (Sam walks to the couch, Andy sits down next to him) So how do we start? (Andy looks at him anxious and with expectation, he turns to face her, they kiss.)

    • Sam Swarek: (After Andy being reinstated as a cop) Thanks for your help today and, uh, congratulations. I'm glad you're back.
Andy McNally: What, that's it? I mean, you're just leaving?
Sam Swarek: Why? What do you want? McNally, you left, okay? After everything that happened between us, you cut it off because some guy with a white shirt told you to.
Andy McNally: Okay. You break all the rules. You do whatever you want. But that's not me. I'm only two years on this job, a job I really love.
Sam Swarek: Yeah. All you wanted was to keep being a cop and all I wanted was you.

    • Sam Swarek: (Picking up Andy from the airport) Did you have a good time?
Andy McNally: You know, I told you exactly what I was doing. I called you. I e-mailed you before I left. I mean, I couldn't contact you during the suspension. I-I didn't know how to do that. You know? I didn't - I didn't know how not to see you.
Sam Swarek: So you ran away to Temagami?
Andy McNally: I had to do something.
