Rosamunde Pilcher's Coming Home is a touching tale of a young girls life before and after WWII. Judith Dunbar (Emily Mortimer) at the beginning of this British television two-part mini-series, is a young girl. Her parents are busy with their careers and they move to Singapore with Judith's little sister. Meanwhile they have enrolled Judith in a boarding school where she becomes best friends with Loveday Carey-Lewis(Katie Ryder Richardson). As the two girls grow they become like sisters. Due to the fact Judith's parents are always away Loveday's family becomes her home away from home. After Judith's Aunt her legal guardian passes away and a broken heart Judith enrolls in the Royal Navy at the beginning of WWII. The trial and tribulations the war has on Judith, and those around her takes a toll on her she did not expect. This captivating story is full of love heart ache and family drama.
