    Agree

We should have been told, later on in the series, what the box of little heads under DJ's bed was all about.

I agree, it was very creative and unexpected.

A spin-off with Darlene as a mother of her own family is a good idea. Becky can pop in as the wacky sister every once in a while and even Roseanne herself can show up and annoy Darlene the way Bev did to Roseanne in the original series. Well, I think it's a good idea!

    Agree.

David and Mark should have been recognized as stars in the opening of the show. At least in Season 9.

Agree... and disagree: I like the idea, but without the original cast it wouldn't be as funny.

    1. George Clooney should have stayed on the show longer.
    2. Jackie and Booker should have ended up together had he stayed on for the entire run.

Mattel, or some other toy company, should have made a Conner doll family for fans to collect.

Agree now, but I would have disagreed when "Roseanne" first began in 1988. It's complicated (and unfair to the show) to explain why I think that way; I didn't care for the "Roseanne idea" when the series began (I was wrong).

Back in that day my mother gave me a video tape of another TV show I told her that I wanted to see and the tape happened to start with the "Rosanne" episode "Toto, We're Not In Kansas Anymore." My first instinct was to FF but I was so charmed by the opening that I watched the whole episode and I liked it. Over the years, I didn't watch "Roseanne" much except when I had a day off or when I was working and saw parts ofepisodes while on a break, all during the first run. I happened to see the end of the finale during the series first run. I truly respected the series based on my limited but multi-year exposure to it. Over these last many years I've thought that the show skated circles around other TV series of the time. I think it still continues to skate on ice in syndication.

These days, I can't get through a day without a dose of "Roseanne." When "nick" doesn't show an episode I have to look at one of my 'Tivo'd' captures (always recorded again and again over the many years...). Life is good and so is watching good TV!

Question: The Thanksgiving episodes, as a whole, were the most thought-provoking of the 'holiday' shows.

    Agree or disagree? (John, 45)

Disagree-- When I'm down and out, that's just the kind of food I like to find myself treading in.

Like the Halloween edition, there should be a special edition holiday DVD available with all the Christmas, Thanksgiving, Mother's Day. Valentine's Day, birthday, etc. episodes included on it.
