  • Hilarious!

This has to be one of my favorite ever Roseanne episodes. When Darlene goes to the concert with Molly and then they get hit on those stoners I laugh everytime, especially when Darlene says, \\\"Oh man, I feel like I\\\'m in the middle of a really bad After-School Special.\\\" This is definitely a Roseanne must-watch episode. Don\\\'t miss it!
  • Molly Tilden: whore for hire.

The episode starts out in the rain, which really reflects the mood of the episode. Charlotte is introduced, and she's very shy. We also learn she has a special meat loaf recipe. Molly gets tickets for Daisy Chainsaw. She skips Charlotte and asks Darlene if she wants to go. The conflicts between Charlotte and Molly really weren't resolved, but it's not like anyone cared. Roseanne says no to Darlene after hearing the concert is in Rockford. Darlene does some grade-A ass-kissing and Roseanne finally gives in. A side-story occurs, as Roseanne and Dan eat all of the candy bars that DJ was supposed to sell. Charlotte comes by, and she made rice crispies. They're really pushing the "Charlotte doesn't have a life" card. After the concert, Molly ditches Darlene to go in a van with some guys. One of the guys tries to get Darlene to come along. "Any part of you that touches me, you're not getting back." Darlene tells Ponyboy to go rumble with his outsiders.

Everyone is waiting for Darlene to get home. Darlene finally gets home and she's pissed. Dan and Rosey don't care. She took a cab home, and notes that when she found a phone booth she "didn't want to wait for the guy to stop peeing". Molly calls, saying that Darlene will be home safe in an hour. The next morning Ty and Molly come over to apologize. Molly pulls one over on Ty and Ty is gullible enough to believe that Molly 'lost her purse'. Roseanne reams Molly. She's raised two of the best damn liars in the free world, and tells Molly not to embarrass herself. Roseanne just sticks it straight to Molly, and she doesn't even squirm. Great episode, for both the laughs and the valuesmoreless

    • (After a kid at the concert offers Darlene a joint)
Darlene: Oh man, I feel like I'm in the middle of a really bad after-school special.

    • Roseanne: Since I'm not your mother, I'm not going to tell you how stupid it is to get in some stranger's van, and I'm also not going to tell you how horrible things happen to stupid little girls like you every single day.
Molly: I don't need to listen to this.
Roseanne: Oh, but I think you do.

    • Roseanne:(to Molly) If you want to screw up your life fine, I don't care. But when you leave this house with a Conner kid you'd better be extra careful because Darlene is one of the few things we own outright.

    • (To Molly)
Roseanne: You are talking to Darlene's mother. The mother of all mothers and she is majorly mad!

    • Roseanne: Molly, Molly, Molly. I have raised two of the best damn liars in the free world.

    • (Darlene is late coming home from a concert)
Dan: I'm gonna go stand in the middle of the street so the first thing Darlene sees when she pulls up is my head exploding.

    • (Sean tries to put his arm around Darlene)
Darlene: Any part of you that touches me, you're not getting back.

    • Darlene: Can we get out of here? It's been like, an hour and a half.
Molly: It's my car and I'm not ready to go. I'm still looking for the perfect guy, okay.
Darlene: Oh, it's a good thing we're in a parking lot full of drunken losers. It shouldn't be hard to spot that white horse.

    • Molly: They're so cute. Which one do you want?
Darlene: The one who'll kill you and stuff you into a trunk.

    • (Roseanne doesn't believe Darlene was abandoned and had to walk home until she found a cab.)
Darlene: Well if you don't believe me, why don't you go talk to the cab driver outside who's waiting on his $75 fee?

    • (Roseanne is yelling at Darlene for being irresponsible)
Dan: Darlene, you'll be glad to know you're safe in a car with Molly and will be back home in two hours.
Darlene: (to Roseanne - smiling) I'll accept an apology over eggs and French toast in the morning...or you could just ground me and that would be all right too.

    • Roseanne: You're going to pay for Darlene's cab fare!
      Molly: I know!
Roseanne: Washing dishes at the diner until you pay it off, all $150 worth.

    • Molly's dad: Daughters. They oughta come with a handbook.
Dan: Yeah, so you can smack 'em with it.
