AIRED:
The Conners get an eyeful from their elderly neighbors who enjoy being nudists. Pretty soon, they can't put their binoculars down, so they decide to ask them to put up a privacy hedge, or draw the curtains. After having them over for a discussion, the neighbors tell the Conners that they are sick people for watching, and decide to put the hedge up. Meanwhile, Mark is so concerned with David's interest in Becky, and the time that they spend together having coffee and talking, that he enlists the help of Darlene.moreless

  • One of Roseannes funniest...

    9.2
For most shows, writing and acting gets lazy late in the series. Not so in this great episode of Roseanne. The main premise plays on some of our baser impulses, those being spying on our neighbors, and looking at naked people. Mr & Mrs. Cornelli, the aforementioned neighbors, have a habit of walking around their house in the buff. Normally , not a problem. However, Mr. and Mrs. Cornelli's living room is visible from the Dan and Roseanne's bedroom. It starts as a joke between the Connors, but then Dan can't look away. It gets to the point where they need to ask the Conelli's to stop running around naked. Of course, they are the sweetest old couple ever, and they take offense at being told what to do. They call the Connors perverts, and an arguement ensues, climaxing with Roseanne ripping her shirt open and flashing the Cornelli's, showing them just how hard it is to not look when body parts get bared.

In a sub-plot, Darlene finds out that David may not have felt as connected to her as she was to him. Mark is worried about losing Becky to David, who insists they're just friends.

All in all, this is a funny episode that puts the adults in the funny position, and covers a lot of ground with the kids. I think its GREAT.moreless
  • Dan & Roseanne see too much of their older neighbors from their bedroom window, while Darlene finds out something new about a relationship David & Becky.

This episode brings comedy and seriousness in two ways: Dan and Roseanne cannot stop looking into the house of their elderly neighbors who walk around naked, while David and Becky's relationship is becoming too close for comfort for Darlene and Mark. Dan and Roseanne eventually invite their neighbors over and confront them, which eventually turns bad and the neighbors end up thinking the Connor's are sick people. But through watching this you will find how the problem is solved. Throughout the rest of the episode Becky and Davids budding relationship puts a strain on Mark and Becky's relationship, and Darlene is not comfortable with it and tries to help Mark, which is not of Darlene's personality.moreless
