During the party Dan comes close to being violent but is stopped by Roseanne. Afraid that he will look like a wimp Dan vows that he will beat up the billiards bully the next time he sees him. It's Two for One Tuesday at the Landford Inn and Roseanne is planning a reservation. Dan, although not particularly happy, agrees to go with Roseanne to a nice dinner for two. While at the dinner, Roseanne & Dan discover an interesting piece of news about their old friend Patsy.
They're in the money. Dan brings home some extra cash which leads the family to consider how they will spend the cash. After considering being responsible, the couple secretly make purchases based on their own desires.
Roseanne and Dan, parents of a low income family, deal with the trials and tribulations of suburban domesticity. Roseanne must keep her sanity while keeping her family together and dealing with her troubling daughter, Darlene.
