    • QUOTES (4)

      • (Dan's irritated with David.)
David: You work part-time at a pizza parlor and spend the rest of your life making ironic comments about everybody else. Irony is for people who don't do anything.

      • Dan: (to David) Now run and get me some more of these encyclopedias (to keep the new linoleum from folding up). Oh and try to keep them in alphabetical order. I don't want to spend all day trying to put them back.

      • (Roseanne and Jackie take on an extra job passing out samples in a supermarket to make a little extra money. Jackie is practicing handing out samples.)
Roseanne: Oh relax Jackie. You don't have to do anything. People will eat cotton in a supermarket as long as there's a toothpick in it.

      • (Roseanne pulls out a milk carton and opens it)
        Roseanne: Hey Jackie!
        Jackie (not looking): What?
Roseanne: Got Milk? (pours the milk over Jackie's head)

Jackie: m&m chocolate candies. They melt in your mouth, not in your hand (stuffs a handful of m&m's in Roseanne's mouth).: m&m's, chocolate candy

Roseanne: You know the best part of waking up Jackie is Folgers in your cup (pours a bag of Folgers coffee down Jackie's shirt).: Folgers, a brand of coffee

        Roseanne: Oh Jackie.
        Jackie: What?
