Rosemary and Laura are called in by Martin Frazer, the owner of Lyvedon manor, to restore a derelict walled garden. And as cheap labour to help them, Martin has also enlisted the help of some inmates from the local prison.

Rosemary is worried about working with the prisoners, but she gets used to the idea. A greater shock is in store when she sees Jim, Martin's strange cousin, jumping into a fast-running river and vanishing. His body is later found and identified by Martin Frazer himself

Soon afterwards, Rosemary is amazed to see Jim at the local market. What exactly is going on?moreless
  • This episode was a 2 hour special to tantalise the public back into the mysterious world of the gardening super sluths.

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. It was in this episode that i first noticed a great new actor called Ross O'Hennessy. He played the mild mannered (but large and hunky ) policeman P.C. Stuart.

This episode was written with great humour and lots of action..running water action scenes and fast quad bike chases.. very exciting and electirc for Rosemary and Thyme. Bryan Farnham the director cast a great crew of actors to make the story live. The reason why Ross O'Hennessy stood out for me was his great un-played acting abilities. He is a large impressive character but he never played the obvious, he kept his performance small and 'real' at all times...

I am now an avid Ross fan since this episode..moreless
