  • Micheal and Maria take off in the Jetta.

    10
The Jetta is an excellent character on this show, I know it's not a person, but much like the crahsdown it plays a critical role in the series. I love Micheal and Maria on the road, it's what started their relationship in 285 South and it is nice to see them back on the road. I also love Amy's reaction to Liz's blatant lie about camping. When she talks to Micheal it is hilarious and the "Have fun" line is classic. It is also nice to see Micheal open up to Laurie and try to get her to act like a normal human being. I really like this whole story arc that she sets up and this is a really good episode.moreless
  • The first part of an amazing two-part episode.

    9.1
As the Laurie DuPree chronicles continue, the episodes get better and better. A lot of new information is finally revealed in this episode which makes this episode all the more intense. I am a huge fan of this short arc even though some fans dislike it. I think it has produced some of the series’ best episodes. Michael and Maria find Laurie again in this episode which is interesting, but the most important thing about this episode is what is revealed to Max and the crew in Roswell. There is a parasite that has been unleashed and they have to stop it.moreless
  • Marie Dupree is still there. Even though it's a good episode, running after this nutcase is getting old.

    7.3
Even though she's less nut for some reason in this episode. She had totally lost it before, and even before she was buried. But now she's more reasonable which means less yelling and less hysteria.

At some moment the aliens justify being with Valenti when they dug out Marie because they had ''lost their bike''. I mean even a 10 years old could have found a better lie than this. I can't believe the authors didn't knew that. It's like they weren't trying. Since when does a sheriff go on missions to find some citizen's bike?

The most funny moment in this episode is when Amy talks to Michael over the phone about their little trip outside the state of New Mexico.

In this episode we also learn a bit more about Sorenson.moreless
  • We learn about Laurie Dupree

    9.2
In this episode we are continuing the story of the girl found buried in the woods - Laurie Dupree. She spent years in a mental institution and we begin to learn why. She's not crazy, but she has had encounters with aliens. In fact, her grandfather's picture from 1935 is an exact duplicate of Michael.

What's interesting is that Laurie's family is rich - - and cynical (the two often go together in TV portrayals of the "rich").

Laurie is a very disturbed girl to whom Michael attempts to reach out. It will be interesting to see exactly how Michael and the others can resolve Laurie's emotional problems and give understanding to this girl.moreless
