We got to see that Liz was feeling really guilty that she led Max into the white room. We also got to see Isabel managing to contact Max and when she manages to get out of it she told Michael how scared Max was. Wow that was very special scenes in seeing how close the three aliens have boned together. They have Nassado help to get Max out which was how Nassado die because he asked Michael to run as he wanted to do something but he was shot. Also the sheriff helps because Liz, Alex and Maria called for his help, he helped Michael and Max out of the door and also injuring agent pierce in the progress by shooting him.

Overall this was a very good episode, I loved it.moreless

Absolutely brilliant! This episode really delivered. Character development, suspense and all high emotions of various kinds!
It reiterates the growing strength of the Aliens' powers and their bond together as a group. This was illustrated very well... Isabel, contacting Max as his was half conscious - showed that she had more power and was stronger than she thought.
Also, Michael taking a brief lesson from Nasedo on Shapeshifting and managing to alter his fingerprints, which was another advance in 'Power Status'.
And finally, I loved the way the group came together to help Max. The Aliens' naturally went off and did their thing together, leaving the others (Liz, Maria, Alex) left behind feeling helpless. But its funny that Liz finally taking that step to tell Sheriff Valenti everything, was the REAL thing that saved Max. If Valenti hadn't shown up and shot at Agent Pearce, Max would have been captured again.
So this episode marks a big turn around in the lives of the Roswellians and captures every emotion possible. Truly a brilliant episode.moreless

This episode was one of the most exciting ones ever. It was so nerve-racking when they showed how Max was tortured and I could hardly stay still. It was awful and painful to watch.
But the others fighting their ways through to save him was great - especially when Isabel risked entering Max' mind when he was still half-way concious.
It was great when Liz finally took a step forward to Valenti and decided to trust him. I had been waiting for that.
Oh, and did I mention that Pierce is really disgusting and a pain in the ass?? God, hopefully he'll be gone soon ;-)moreless

  • Without doubt the most tense episode of the serries so far.

    "Superb"
I loved this episode. Everything seems so bleak and it could be the end of Max, as he's captured and tortured to reveal his secrets.

Of course Agent Pierce believes Max to be Nasedo, who was responsible for the deaths of agents from years ago. The actor playing Pierce is wonderfully evil. He wants the truth, but he's really just a modern day Dr Mengele, prepared to experiment in whatever way he needs to to get to his version of his truth.

The rescue mission keeps you on the edge of your seat (though they do seem to be able to move around quite noisily without attracting too much attention!)

Nasedo is quite a fun guy, despite his willingness to kill anything that gets in his way. Jim Ortlieb has the most incredible face. He looks like he could shape shift himself! And the promise of stonger powers to come and learning what the powers are that everyone has is intriguing.

Jason Behr gives a good performance being tortured! Makes a change to see his mouth open! You've got a great set of teeth, man, smile once in a while!

Tense, provoking, moves the story along and really makes you want to know what's going to happen next.moreless
