It is the best show ever! ...not really, but I love it! All the people are hilarious, and my favourites are Hamish and Andy. Lol, I love how they make fun of Kevin Rudd, awesome! And Carrie at the news desk, lol, best news ever! Petespace, haha, funny as, and Dave hughes, he is funny too! Its good how they get heaps of different celebrities and the show never gets boring! Another great show that i will never miss! Hilariously stupid sometimes, I dont know any one that wouldnt like it! Its better then ever, and way more exciting! Love it! xxmoreless
  • Rove is a laid back Australian talk show hosted by Rove McManus. Regulars include Pete Helliar, Dave Hughes, Ryan Shelton, Carrie Bickmore and Hamish & Andy. There is also always a musical performance at the end of the show.moreless

    8.5
Rove is quite a funny show, a bit more refined and less reliant on spontaneous comedy than its predecessor Rove Live. It relies on standard segments including "Petespace" a parody of Myspace where comedian and close friend of Rove Pete Helliar tells of famous people who have made his list for various achievements. An example of this is Kevin Rudd who earned his spot by being seen eating his own ear wax.

More recently the musical segment which usually occurs at the end of the program has been changed with a seperate stage area set up for the artist to perform as well as a web exclusive video of a song by the artist/band recorded after the show.

All up an enjoyable show which benefits from being one of the few shows nowadays which is recorded live as well as from the various ways the guests react to Rove's questions and general antics.moreless
  • Outrageous, to say the least.

    9.6
Who can get away with poking fun at important political news? Carrie at the newsdesk!

Who can get into an army base and use a tank? Hamish and Andy!

Who gets to teaSE THE DRUNKEN aSTRONAUTs? Petespace!

Who made up his own religious cult to show how easy it was? Ryan Shelton!

And, of course, who oversees all of this evil, and more? ROVE MCMANUS!!!

Rove is the... third most outrageous show on the telly, next to Summer Heights High, and the Chasers war on everything.

And, unlike those shows, its funny! Well, so is Chasers, but anyway...

Who cant love rove? Who cant feel for the tragic death of his wife? Who can admire him for making an incredibly succesful comeback?

Its rove. He is all those things and more. He is funny. Fubny. For gods sake, he got our Prime Minister on the talk show, even though he had already made fun of him several times! WHta else does he have to do to prove his worth? Zip. See yas!moreless
  • The new format to Rove Live

    8.0
I am not overly impressed with the new format of Rove.

It still has it funny bits but I feel the celebrity interviews are way to short.

I think they try to cram too much into a short show.

I like the addition of Hamish and Andy, I think they are really funny and Pete is still fabulous as always, he has some great material and ideas. I dont find Rove as funny as I used to, I think some of the material he uses is just far to stupid and silly.

The other people on the show I have just not warmed to so I dont watch every week like I use to.moreless
  • Rove is a classic, it hasn't been easy for him since his wife died but he's made a great comeback impressing us all with his hilarious jokes and all....

    9.1
I think this show is a great one for teens-adults. It's really funny especially Hamish and Andy. if you like comedy,Hamish and Andy, Rove's mate Pete or Peter, or Rove himself you'll love this. haha now thinking about it if you do watch Rove does anyone remember when Kevin Rudd came on the show? man that was funny. It would have been pretty hard for Rudd since he can't make jokes and stuff because it was coming up to the elections and he probably wouldnt of wanted to loose his good reputation, votes, or get a bad reputation. What about when Rove mocks people like say he'll have our former priminister John Howard and then like pretend its Johnny saying all this random stuff ETC. ok lets get to the point, this show is definately worth watching, it will put you in a good mood ROFL! Well the point is it makes you laugh and gives you something to talk about with lets say family members, students at school, or friends. Thanks for listening to my review and tune into Rove on sundays (i think its sunday's) if not just google it DAMNIT it's not that hard... im sure you all have brains.moreless
