The show started with Davy dressed as a king and wondering why NBC didn't use the farthinggale as their symbol instead of the peacock. Following were several short bits, the intros and Dick telling Dan about his Uncle Marley the bird trainer in the opening monologue. Next up was the party, the news, where the girls dressed and sang like the Supremes, more short bits and Davy showing Goldie a sundial. Next, Davy did Stranger Than Truth, more short bits, Gladys and Tyrone, the Flying Fickle Finger of Fate Award, a bird call from Arte, a sketch about coincidence, and more short bits. Then the first joke wall segment, more short bits, Dick telling Dan he is trying to pick Miss November for Playboy, which led into Potpourri. Then the Question Of The Week, more short bits, and the Discovery Of The Week, Red Dog Weber, who played the boom bass. Following was a saying from the Maharishi, Sock It To Me Time, more short bits, and Mod Mod World on love and marriage. Finally the good nights, the second joke wall segment and the last short bits.
