    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (2)

      • The Flying Fickle Finger Of Fate Award went to the Air Force for firing an efficiency expert who had, before a Senate commitee, blamed them for cost overruns for a transport plane, citing bad management and inadequate cost control.

      • During the Eskimo protest sketch, Jonathan opens the door and snow flies in. He closes it and picks up a rubber steak, but the door doesn't close. He says 'Door still open, huh?' and uses the steak to close the door.

    • QUOTES (5)

      • Jonathan: You know, I'm all for sex education books in schools, and I think sex education movies are fine. But all this on-the-job training is going too far, gang!

      • Arte: (with Russian accent) I don't understand it why these radicals go around planting bombs. They'll never grow.

      • Gary: Now this late item: President Roosevelt has announced...hey, this is a late item.

      • Teresa: I hear a lot about these protests, and I say we ought to get behind our President. I mean after all, if these protesters get violent, I want somebody in front of me!

      • Jonathan: At the last party I went to there was a 300-pound girl wearing a see-through blouse. You could see anything you liked. Trouble is, you didn't like anything you could see.

    • NOTES (1)

      • The short bits included Dan and Arte as French swordsmen, Byron Gilliam as a snake charmer and Henry as a customer, and several scenes with Jonathan as Maude Frickert.
