The show started with several short bits, one-liners, and a preview of The Farkle. After the intros, Dick told Dan about trouble with his toaster, which was followed by the party, The Quickies, which included a saying from the Maharishi, more one-liners, a look at a Russian version of Laugh-In, and a short salute to mothers. Then Dick presented the Discovery Of The Week, The Amazing Metrano. Next, Ernestine called William F. Buckley, but she called him Mr. Fubuckley. Then Jeremy kissed Goldie on behalf of Englishmen everywhere. Then came The Amazing Metrano again, followed by more short bits, and Carl as a toupee dealer and Potpourri. Then Tyrone told Dan and Dick he wished to propose to Gladys. He did in the next segment, but she misunderstood and whacked him as usual. Then more short bits, Agatha Grunt with her bird, and Goldie explaining the draft lottery. Carl's toupee dealer did a poem in place of Henry, then Ernestine called Mr. Fubuckley again, followed by more short bits, Lily talking to Andy Williams, Carl with a Laugh-In Fable, and Ferd Burfel and the Farkle kids doing The Farkle. Finally, the good nights, the joke wall, the last short bits and Carl in the bush with Wolfgang.
