The short bits included Goldie trying to thread a needle, Nancy at the counter of a store, Milton as a magaician, one liners from Mickey, the cast with Edgar Bergen(and Charlie and Mortimer), and Buddy talking with his son.
The running gag for the show was Milton being booed and berated by the cast; mostly involving Henry. First, he recieved a gift that when opened, he heard boos. Then he recieved a phone call with boos at the other end, and when he complained to Dan, Dan booed him. Then he recieved a rose for a great comic; when he said it wasn't a rose, Henry said, 'Well, you're no Henny Youngman.' Then Milton and Henry had a bit with makeup, though it was a small puff. Then Milton received a gift for a great comic, though Henry asked him to give it to Jack Carter. Finally, the last two had him receiving applause, but Jeremy and Henry got him.
The lamb that Tyrone was given at the bachelor party looked kind of scared; when he tried to walk it, it looked like it didn't want to move, so Tyrone pushed it.
Dick: I know a girl who has a million dollar figure.
Dan: You don't say.
Dick: But the top half is counterfeit!
Lily: If you want to wake up in the morning with a smile on your face, go to bed at night with a coat hanger in your mouth!
Lily: What happens when a human body is immersed in water?
Pamela: Well, usually the phone rings.
Milton: You know, if my wife, Ruth, knew I was here, she'd really be angry. She thinks I'm in Tijuana getting loaded.
Mickey: So she said to me, 'Why don't you do what Governor Reagan did?' And I said, 'What, go into politics?' And she said, 'No, get out of the business.'
Milton: The way the some of the younger generation carries on, some people wish that they develop a birth control pill that was retroactive.
Pamela: Well, last night my boyfriend finally popped the question, but I said, 'No. Not till we're married!'
(at the very beginning of the show)
Dan: Ladies and gentlemen, in our audience tonight we are honored to have one of the greatest names in comedy, Milton Berle!
Dick: And I'm sure that if we give him a big round of applause, he'd be willing to sit down!
Milton: I don't know why NBC needs a peacock when they got these two guys to lay eggs.
This episode was paired with Episode #52(featuring Engelbert Humperdinck) on disc two of The Best of Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In 2 DVD collection.
In the Farkle Family bit, Milton played Officer Will McCorkle, brother of Officer Phil McCorkle, who was played by Jonathan Winters earlier in the season.
