The episode starts with a town crier falling through a trap door and the cast marching with different signs. Next, in the opening monologue, Dan tries to explain the flower generation and Dick tells Dan about his being in a nudist camp. The cocktail party, then the new talent(Arte Johnson's first apperance as Rosmenko included) followed, then a series of short bits(including Henry Gibson's first poem). Following was Mod, Mod, Mod, Mod World about women, then more short bits, and the news segment, which was all future news, as Dan introduced it as being 20 years from the date. Dick did the national news, Dan did the international news, and the girls did the weather(which included the first dousing of Judy). Next, Henry's second poem, more short bits, a song by Jo Anne, and a Laugh-In look at history. Finally, the last short bits, a manic scene involving the cast, bicycles, go-carts, and golf carts, the good nights and the cast playing with beach balls over the closing credits.
