Episode Summary

EDIT
Special:60 minutes long (or 2 30-minute parts, depending on where you watch it), this will be the Rugrats' second Christmas special, and the fourth special for the holiday season. In this special, the Rugrats visit MergeCorp headquarters (where Charlotte is CEO) to see "Christmasland", Santa's winter wonderland, designed by, of course, Stu. The visit is extra special, as it is Dil's first Christmas. However, when Angelica behaved like such a brat she is (definitely not a good thing during the Holidays), "Santa" (Jim Belushi) got fed up with the whole business, and decides to quit. Because of this, Tommy finds a way to bring "Santa" back, and to make this Christmas a joyous one for Dil. It is especially important to Dil, as Angelica tells the Rugrats that if they don't get a present, they don't get to celebrate Christmas ever again. Meanwhile, the grown-ups have a simulated Christmas in the prairies, complete with the experience of being snowbound, thanks to a malfunction in Stu's otherwise-state-of-the-art snowblowing equipment.moreless

I thought that this was a superb 1-hour Christmas episode of "Rugrats". Once again, Angelica had to ruin my chance of giving another Christmas episode a 10. Now if she only whines like twice then stopped after that, I can actually let it slide but since she was being so selfish, being whiny, and acting bad throughout like 45 minutes of this entire 1-hour Christmas episode... I can't let it slide and she just got me angry. I hate how she made Santa Claus quit. I hated how she lied to babies on where Santa's worshop and whatever bad stuff she did. Man, Santa Claus was right "A little girl her does deserve a spanking". Other than Angelica, this 1-hour Christmas episode was very good. There were also some funny parts and they were either from Grandpa or some of the scenes with the adults being stuck inside an old-fashioned house. The adults having fun and making it an old-fashioned Christmas was very nice and good to see. The babies trying to run away from the nutcracker and the other Christmas stuff was pretty cool. I also enjoyed the musical number with that elf telling Angelica about being nice and Angelica appreciating the reindeer that she got was nice also and I'm also glad that she gave all of the babies their presents. The storyline was handled very well and it had some very funny parts. Overall, a superb 1-hour Christmas episode of "Rugrats"... it would've been a 10 but Angelica ruined it. 9/10moreless

To make a third review of my Christmas review line up,I'm going to review a different show. It's my favorite Rugrats christmas special. The special starts with Tommy and Chuckie discussing of how Dil needs to have his first christmas. However, what I found hilrailous about this scene was that when the christmas carols came, and when the dog stole Dil's gingerbread man,he started crying, and that the others thought the carols were ruining his christmas. Angelica scares away the carols. And everyone leaves for the Christmas land (While the giant decoration of the dradel on the roof breaks). They all leave for Christmas land. Angelica then finds a man in a Santa suit, but gets mad after he gives her a stuffed reindeer doll. She drives him to quit the job. Tommy and the others think that Dil will not get his first christmas. Meanwhile, the adults go in a log cabin, and Stu turns the snow on high, and while he thinks he fixed the machine after it breaks, the machine breaks down, causing all of them to be locked in a log cabin. And I loved Howard's reactions. All of them go on a journey to give Dil a great holiday, while Angelica tries to find Santa after tricking them, and also steals a bunch of cookies and a hat. Meanwhile, after Chuckie finds a giant walnut, the babies come around a reanactment of the Nutcracker, and imagine as if it was real, and I found the scene awesome. Angelica finds a elf workshop, and when she goes through it,she sees that everyone is real. But finds out that she's not on the nice list. Her stuffed reindeer,Prancy, comes to life, only to find out that he's just sad that Angelica called him dumb. We then cut to a musical number, which makes Angelica change her ways. Meanwhile, the adults find ways to enjoy themselves,(and Chazz causes a fire, which was funny). The babies find a baby Jesus scene, and they decide to give their stuff away, causing them to smile. Grandpa then finds the babies, and Angelica gives them gifts. I found it touching that when he didn't have a gift for Dil,she gave him Prancy. The adults come in,and find the babies. And that's the special right there. Overall, this had it's funny moments, and was touching most of the time. Great specialmoreless

Christmas the rugrats are excited about Christmas.Tommy is also excited since it is Dil's first Christmas. But as usual Angelica being the brat tells the babies that they may never see another Christmas. She also wants to be the first person,to get her present. Before anyone else. She've been telling that to the babies since than.Altough someone was seeing her action was.Meanwhile the grownups except for Grandpa Lou is trapped the house when they are soundbound.

Great episode altough I think Angelica sorta learn her lesson. It was selfish of her for taking the cookies away.moreless
