Goof: The spelling of Lepetomaine on his door changes.
Chuckie: (Riding Spike) Picnic table! Picnic table! Duck! (Spike and the two babies safely ride under the table) Chuckie: Duck! Tommy: No, Chuckie, we got under the table. Chuckie: No, the other kind of duck! (Camera shows their blocked by the flock of geese they crossed paths with earlier)
Chuckie: Maybe we'll forget about it. Tommy: Forget about it. FORGET ABOUT IT! When I get sick, who takes care of me? Grandpa!
Stu: There's nothing wrong with Tommy. Didi: How can you say that? Drawing on the walls proves that he cannot find a constructive outlet for his repressed, social anxieties. Stu: Deed, he's a year old.
One of the men: The toy is top secret. If the dolls were a confidential project, they shouldn't give the darn toys to those babies.
Mail Boy: Natalie, would you like to go on a date with me tomorrow night? Natalie: Not for all the gold in China. Mail Boy: How about a couple of chili dogs, 2 Cokes, and a box of Raisinets? Natalie: What time will you pick me up?
The name "Dr. Lepetomaine" is a reference to the Frenchman Josef Pujol, aka "Le Petomaine," or "The Fartomaniac." He was a man who put on shows where he would do tricks with the gas he passed, such as play songs or smoke cigarettes.
Stu: Jack Riley (Stu) at the psychiatrist
He did this a lot on The Bob Newhart Show.
