Episode Summary

EDIT
Word Of The Day: Angelica auditions for a part on a Romper Room-style TV program, "Miss Carol's Happy House." However, things get nasty after the audition when Angelica overhears the 74 year-old Miss Carol say nasty things about her viewers backstage; among these nasty things included a cuss word, which Angelica learns and says to her parents. Johnathan Babysits: Jonathan babysits the Rugrats at Charlotte's house while she's on assignment, but uses this opportunity to look for Charlotte's tape so he could "dig up dirt" on Charlotte for blackmailing purposes. However, he has to do this while humoring Angelica, as per Charlotte's orders. Meanwhile, the Rugrats dig up dirt (the one used to make mudpies, that is.)moreless

  • What does Miss Carol think of her kids?

    10
Well apparently it's not tv appropriate let alone childern tv appropriate. That's probably the episode I remeber the most on Rugrats. I was laughing so hard! I know a couple of little kids who curse. I don't know why, but I love those episodes of cartoons where one of the characters learns a "new" word. Spongebob know he had me laughing! Everytime I hear somebody ask for the word of the day, I laugh. When Angelica said that word, everyone went into shock. I personaly wanted to know what the word was!

What does Miss. Carol think of her kids?

No, what does she really think of her kids?moreless
  • This episode teaches kids not to cuss.

    5.0
This is an influencel episode where Angelica overhears Miss Carol say a cuss word (which is probably f*** in the verb version) and repeats it in front of her parents. I know several cuss words, but I don't want to say them because they might kick me of this service, and I hope I won't get kicked of if I use the word, but put astriesks in it, when it only refers to an episode similar to this one.moreless

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • Goof: In the episode "Johnathan Babysits" right after the babies throw the dirt on Johnathon in Charlotte's office, Phil's shoes are pink like Lil's instead of blue.

    • Goof: In the episode "Johnathan Babysits", there is a scene when Johnathan puts his hands on his waist. If you look closely one of his hands are backwards.

  • QUOTES (4)

    • Charlotte: I'm sure Miss Carol will think you're "fun-eriffic!" (to Didi) They call that the fun phrase.
      Angelica
: No mommy, the real fun phrase is: she thinks we're all little...
(outside a moving truck passes by, dubbing out the bad word with its' horn and Charlotte screams!)

    • Miss Carol: Angelica... if you love Miss Carol AT ALL, you will tell us right now, WHAT DOES MISS CAROL THINK OF HER KIDS?!
Angelica: She thinks we're all little...
      Charlotte: AAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!
      Drew: OH NO!
Miss Carol: That's it! Get her out! Get her out of here!
Angelica: But THAT'S WHAT YOU SAID! BUT YOU SAID IT, Miss Carol!
Miss Carol: You're right! You're right, you know that? You're right! I've said it before and I'll say it again! Hahahaha! YOU ARE ALL LITTLE...
(Beat, due to a test pattern)
Angelica: See? See? She DID say it!

    • Angelica: This coffee tastes like mud.
      Phil: It is mud.

    • Didi: (Reading from (Lipschitz Pocket Reference) "Ven ze child eez bad word saying, you simply sit ze child down, and calmly tell ze child zat ze word eez unacceptable." You see? It's zat--I mean, that easy!

  • NOTES (0)

  • ALLUSIONS (1)

    • "Word Of The Day" is similar to the SpongeBob SquarePants episode, "Sailor Mouth" and The Powerpuff Girls episode "Curses". The word that Angelica, SpongeBob, and the Powerpuff Girls (mainly Bubbles, who taught Blossom and Buttercup what she heard the professor say) might have learned could have been F***ers/F*** (Angelica and SpongeBob for the noun version, and the regular for Bubbles).
