"Great"

Heather Locklear guest stars (probably too boost the ratings, but I digress). The thing that annoyed me the most about Heather Locklear was her looking nothing like Audrey. These two really didn't feel like sisters, but I hope to see her again to continue the story between Russel and her. This really was a turning point for Rules. This was the point where the actually brought a consistently funny episode.

All the plots were fantastic from Adam wanting Jen to get out of the apartment, to Russel's surprising gesture, also loved how things tied in at the very end. I think I can officially say I have become a fan of this show with this episode, that's rare in today's comedy. But Rules IS in fact a good show, and this show definitely does not deserve low marks like this episode got.moreless

after watching this show a few times last year and being unimpressed, i was very surprised to find it back on the air this season. this episode was by far the best episode yet. the characters are getting much more funny as the show spends less time developing characters and more time telling jokes. the married couple is by far the best comedy, with the actor of Seinfeld's "Putty" fame being the comedic star. david spade is also very funny in his role. i hope the show continues in this way as it is much more enjoyable to watch than it was last year.moreless

I was shocked too see that this episode got such a low rating. In my opinion it was one of if the best episode of the series so far. I love David's acting, and its good to see his character develop more. I hope future episodes will focus more on Russel. His character has a lot more potential that Audrey and Jeff's since they are already settled down. That said, i do love Jeff's character. As other reviews have said, the jokes are getting funnier, the plots are getting better, and the characters are becoming deeper. I'm very pleased with this series so far and hope to see many more episodes like this one.moreless
