    This was one of the better episodes of the season and really funny in places. The standard fear of getting your mind right with spending a little money and then you end up spending more than you can afford.

    The bottle of wine was classic and I really liked it when his friend came up and Jeff offered him a glass. But when he realized it was $1500 a bottle he says, "Set the glass down and step away from the table."

    Jennifer is being mean to Adam again this time over losing his cell phone. Russell pulls a prank where he tells Adam to call his phone from a pay phone (Russell has it.) and find out if he left it in a cab. Adam does and then Russell sends him to a lesbian bar to meet a Pieal Amode. One of the funnier Adam moments of the season. The funniest part was when Jenn and Russell go to save him, she runs into an "old college friend" who she spent some time with. She hightails it out of there as fast as she can.

    As I stated at the beginning. One of the better episodes. This was shown before episode 12 which is the Season Finale episode on the same night.

    I am confused, I thought last episode was the season finale. But CBS begs to differ.

    Anyhow, this installment was a huge improvement over the last one. Carrying on with the lost phone concept used in HIMYM, Russell and Jen try to mess around with Adam by leading him to a lesbian bar. The plan starts to backfire when Adam actually has good time at the bar.

    The parallel storyline involving Jeff and Audrey was the hilarious part. The opener and the scenes at the restaurant brought out the best in Jeff. Nice episode. We get to see the best of Pat Warburton.moreless

    In the penultimate episode of Rules of Engagement's third season we saw Jeff and Audrey decide to splurge their recent earnings in an effort to not be like her father.

    While this season has had some misses, overall this has probably been the show's best offering of episodes and I think the shortened year can be attributed to that. As a traditional sitcom in 2009 there are only so many storylines you can do and it is not possible to not have filler episodes with a 22 episode order. What worked here was revolving around Jeff and allowing him to drop one one-liner after another, and having Russell, Jen and Adam as supporting cast around him. Patrick Warburton is the star of the show and the main draw so focusing on him is the best bet for this show getting renewed.moreless
