Rules of Engagement continues and I may not be as impressed with this show as I was before, but this is still a fine show to watch. It wont deliver quality installments week after week, but once in a blue moon, it can surprise you.

Tonight wasn't one of those times. All the story lines were nothing we haven't seen before. It was pretty obvious that David Spade's character was going to sleep with Liz and Jeff working out was very unoriginal as I have seen the same thing on 2 shows I can name at the top of my head.

The Adam & Jen story line was okay as well. All the story lines were rather weak, but I did find myself laughing at a few scenes so I'll give it points on that one.moreless

Kind of a funny episode of Rules of Engagement tonight. Not one of the better ones this season, but still some interesting moments. I think that the writers probably watched The King of Queens episode where Doug puts an old picture of himself on the refrigerator and uses it as motivation to workout, but I suppose that storylines are borrowed all the time so no big deal.

Some good Adam lines though, and that is really a lock for any episode of Rules of Engagement being good. Just for this character alone I am hoping that this veteran series is given the greenlight for a sixth season.moreless
