  • Biscuits? Anyone got gravy...

An appetizing episode? about the amount of money being spent by the government on tea and biscuits being leaked to the press by an eccentric woman whom Rumpole is asked to defend (wonder if they go good with grape jam). Rumpole finds it rather amusing while everyone else seems to take it seriously including the government which is taking a very keen interest in the case. Seems they are afraid more secrets will be leaked (goverment keeping secrets?...nah). In court Rumpole proves that the letter his client typed (for Rumpole) and the one that caused the leak in the first place were typed by 2 different people and that traces back to the defendent's boss.moreless
